Guest Lecturers

Over the course of professional practices we were visited by a variety of industry professionals to discuss topics such as; Producing, Arts Council and understanding industry practices.

An Artistic Practitioner and also working with the arts council Afreena gave useful information regarding how to apply with tips and tricks on applications.

Member of IOU Theatre, Jonathan spoke to us about various projects the company engage in. They also gave us an insight into the workshop style experimentation the compant offer new and emmerging artists.

Lecturer at Manchester School of Theatre. Neil is also a creator of festivals and performances. They discussed with us the importance of touring our work and the opportunities that arise when taking performance out of the UK. They gave us an incredible list of venues and festivals we can contact and take our practice further.

Member of Babel Theatre company, Arron spoke to us about working with Babel for our Artist Led Project, whilst also teaching us about working with NPO's and other funding opportunities for theatre companies and businesses.

A Producer, Director and 'a woman of many hats'. Tamsin discussed with us the importance of being versatile in our practice and what it means to really be a producer. She spoke to us about the benefits and imperitive of arts and not allowing the business aspects of performance take away from the enjoyment of performing.
